One Year On: Adam & Clare Celebrate Their First Wedding Anniversary

This week, AMG Head Coach Adam has swapped the gym for the Majorcan sunshine as he and his wife Clare celebrate a very special milestone - their first wedding anniversary. šāļø
One year on from saying āI doā, they're spending some well-earned time together in Majorca, switching off, enjoying good food and celebrating their first year of married life.
And the timing couldn't have been better.
A well-earned halfway point
The trip also happens to fall around the halfway point of Adam's 2026 photoshoot prep.
The first phase has been a strong one. With another photoshoot on the horizon, Adam has spent the past few months following a clear, structured plan with his own coach, building on the work they've done together over the last 18 months.
But a successful prep - and a healthy approach to fitness more generally ā doesn't mean life has to stop.
Rather than trying to squeeze training into every day of the holiday or worrying about stepping away from his normal routine, this week was always intended to provide a physical and mental deload. Time to rest, recover and come back ready for the next phase.
Fitness should fit into your life
It's something we talk about regularly at AMG. Consistency is incredibly important, but consistency doesn't mean being perfect 365 days a year. There will be holidays, weddings, birthdays, meals out, busy periods at work, weekends away and sometimes, you'll simply want to spend a week in the sunshine with the people who matter most.
Those moments aren't getting in the way of your progress. They're part of your life.
The right approach to training and nutrition should have room for both. When there's a clear plan in place, stepping away from your usual routine doesn't need to come with guilt or the feeling that you're undoing months of hard work. Sometimes rest is exactly what the plan calls for.
More than the gym
Clare has been a huge part of the journey behind AMG, supporting Adam through the long days, early starts, photoshoot preps, continued education and everything that comes with building the business.
So this week isn't really about training at all.
It's about celebrating one year of Adam and Clare, spending some proper time together and enjoying everything Majorca has to offer.
The weights will still be there when they get home. For now, it's sunshine, good food and a very happy first wedding anniversary. ā¤ļø
Congratulations, Adam & Clare!
And when the holiday is over?
Rested. Recovered. Recharged.
Then photoshoot prep kicks back in.
